BAST

After a sold out opener for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in June of 2019 at the Fred Amphitheater, and as an opening act for up and coming Gibson artist Emily Wolfe, BAST is poised to release a new single 'Durty Durty' and B-Side 'Thump' recorded in music epicenter Athens, Georgia.

BAST's prior single, ‘Elephant’ had been in regular rotation on Cumulus radio station, 99x (98.9) in Atlanta, GA for over 2 years.

BAST also won Creative Loafing's 'Best Live Rock Act Readers Pick' in 2016.

BAST has been lauded for their exceptional live performances from the Southeast to Sunset Strip.

Vanessa Izabella's guitar skills won her Gibson’s 'SG Gal' Contest and helped establish her reputation as a premier guitarist, vocalist, performer and songwriter.

Motown influenced bassist, Hugh Ellis also serves as backing vocals, keyboardist, co-writer and producer. His melodic bass lines and driving bass tone are a staple that drives the music.

Rounding out the trio is the indelible Tony Panzarella. Tony has performed around the Southeast with some of the regions most popular acts. Tony has also performed as a support act on the KISS KRUISE.

With their rare blend of punchy and direct improvisation coupled with hook driven songs, BAST captivates their audiences with dynamic stage chemistry, innovative guitar work coupled to a driving, soulful rhythm section.

Voltage Hawk

Rising from the ashes of former projects, East Nashville Rockers Jarrad James and Dan Fenton set out to start a new project to fill a void for loud, fast Rock and Roll in Nashville. Calling on an old friend and bass fiddleman, Tyler Boone, the band quickly set the ground rule that the word “no” was not welcome in the creative space. Guitar slinger and purveyor of all things tone, Chase Arrocha, however, was very welcome.

After recording their first demo "Roll" at Starstruck Studios on Music Row in a midnight session, paying for the recording with a 40oz of malt liquor and a set of brass knuckles, the band put together an energetic, fast paced, melodic opener set, and quickly found themselves opening for local rock n roll powerhouses and friends The Tip, Sky Temple Blues, The Cunning, and newcomers Denman.

Continuing on it’s mission to fuse melodic Nashville songwriting sensibilities with raw Rock and Roll power, Voltagehawk recently released their self-titled debut album on Poison Tree Records.

KAATO

KAATO is a modern hard rock band with a distinct 1970’s swagger and style. True believers in the power and glory of this music, the group creates ferocious new songs inspired by the best of rock’s Golden Age and performs them with the energy and abandon of emerging young musicians working hard to get their share. KAATO’s new album Slam! is a blast of fresh, stadium-filling rock and roll influenced by masters like Aerosmith, Boston, and Cheap Trick and continues the evolution of the sound those icons brought to the world.

Originally formed in Sydney, Australia, KAATO is now based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Guitarist/vocalist Kurt Lowney and bassist Mika Nuutinen met at the Australian Institute of Music and quickly bonded over a shared love of Classic Rock and the rock and roll lifestyle. After making the move to Nashville they teamed up with lead guitarist Hunter Lovan and drummer Christopher Williams (ACCEPT, Andrew WK) who have since become an integral part of the band. KAATO was born of a desire to make new, human music written from real hearts and minds and as a rejection of the plastic, shallow pop sound in which the world is currently drowning. New album tracks like “Glamour Queen,” “Addicted,” and “Communication” are an impassioned kick in the teeth to a global music scene that’s fallen into easy imitation and complacency. KAATO is clearly here to play it loud and shake things up. The band has drawn comparisons to The Darkness, The Faces, and David Bowie but exists in its own space and never crosses the line into anyone else’s.

2019 is expected to be a big year for KAATO. The new album Slam! builds on the success of their self titled debut release and tours of Japan and elsewhere are in the works. The band is looking forward to getting out on the road and taking the new record to the people. Industry insiders feel Slam! could break KAATO to a much larger audience and everyone involved is eager to see that happen. KAATO is proof that true rock music is very much alive and thriving. Fans starving for the real thing need to discover KAATO right now, today.
