Greetings! Thank you for registering for National Bonsai Foundation's upcoming special event, Bask in the Beauty of Bonsai: Forest Bathing Among Treasured Trees with Melanie Choukas-Bradley. You are truly in for a treat and we're very excited to see you on Thursday. Here is a bit of info that will make your arrival easier. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions. Where & When to Meet: Please meet at the entrance to the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at 8:30am. If you haven't been to the museum before, it's located on the grounds of the National Arboretum. You can set your navigation to 3501 New York Avenue N.E. – Washington D.C. 20002. To find the Museum on the Arboretum grounds, enter through the Welcome Center located near the parking lot. Parking is ample and free! Walk through the courtyard to the far stairs. The Museum’s entrance is on your left once you go down the stairs. Comforts: Please dress for the weather. We will be outside, so an umbrella or a raincoat would be a good idea if rain is in the forecast. There will be access to bathrooms in the Welcome Center. Please try and use these before we meet as a group so you won't need to interrupt your meditative session. Weather Pending: Hopefully the forecast won't change, but in case the rain is heavier than expected, we will inform you via email by 7:00am the morning of the class. Please plan to check your email before you leave home. If you don't hear from us then, you can assume we're on as planned! Friends: There are a few spots that remain if you have friends that would like to join us. Please have them register in advance. Registration will remain open at the door (through your mobile device), but there is a chance we will overbook, so it's best to suggest they register in advance. Thank you again. We look forward to seeing you soon. Best, The National Bonsai Foundation Team
