Basics of Environmental Level Design 2017

This one-week camp will provide students with the software necessary to model objects and use them in a game engine to create an environment similar to actual video games. They will use Autodesk Maya to model objects and import them into. Unity, a game engine software. Using Unity they will compose a level using the objects to create an immersive environment.
Note: This is not a programming class.
Dates: Monday, July 24th - Friday, July 28th
Time: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Location: Powell Library
*Students need to bring their own laptops and lunch
Director: Parker Daniels ’15 is a Trinity alum and rising junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has five years of experience with Autodesk Maya and Unity and created the Game Design class at Trinity and helped teach it while he was a senior. While on breaks, Parker comes to Trinity to teach students the use of the 3D printer and game design basics.
