BASIC's first networking event of the year will introduce an exciting organization, Invest in Girls! This organization aims to support the first generation of financially literate girls by connecting them with mentors, workshops and industry trips to volunteer firms.

Beyond building financial literacy, Invest in Girls builds confidence by connecting classroom learning to real world career opportunities in finance. But don't take our word for it - on the 29th we'll hear from Invest in Girls's Ashley Bordas and two students who have been inspired by their experience.
