Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers classroom course by American Heart Association is the standard course for all medical and dental professionals. Required for nurses, doctors, paramedica, EMT's dental assistants, dental hygienists, and students in all of those medical disciplines. BLS course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. It is designed for healthcare clinicians and students, but anyone can take this course and learn the life-saving skills of CPR, relief of choking, and how to use an AED.
This is a 2-year certification course, and an official AHA BLS Providers certification card will be issued at the end of class. This class will fulfill renewal certifications and the BLS CPR requirement for any medical school, nursing school, EMS, dental hygeine school, health science program in Georgia.
