Basic Image Analysis with Python

Description
This workshop covers the basics of image analysis using Python. It is geared toward those with low-to-moderate programming experience, but beginners should be able to follow along with the provided tutorial code. Students will learn how to interactively explore their image data with a Jupyter Notebook. The workshop will cover image file management, basic processing such as rescaling and filtering, and basic analytical techniques such as image segmentation and fluorescence colocalization.
Prerequisites

Learners need to understand what files and directories are, what a working directory is, and how to start a Python interpreter.
