This class is offered by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (formerly Fish and Game)
Paper tickets are not required.
Must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
We provide all the necessary archery equipment.
Class is geared toward school teachers and educators from youth organizations such as (but not limited to): 4-H, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Completion of course certifies that the requirements have been met to teach the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) to students.
- Bring a sack lunch and wear comfortable clothing
- Bring water and extra snacks
Course is taught indoors by a certified NASP trainer.
Learn how to set up and operate an archery range Topics include: safety, archery form, coaching techniques and equipment maintenance. Course includes shooting on a live archery range and time spent in a classroom for lecture. Written exam given at the end of class. No previous archery experience required.
