Only a few tickets remain! Take advantage of a unique opportunity to tour the inside of SF State’s marine science lab with the scientists and students, and learn first-hand about their research. See our beautiful and historic bayfront site tucked away on the Tiburon Peninsula, listen to underwater sounds, and “Be a Diatom!”
Attendees will be escorted through the labs in small groups of 10 or less, to be assigned upon check-in. Tours will be continous from 3:30-5:30, but guests arriving at 5:00pm may have a shortened tour. PLEASE NOTE: children must be at least 9 years old to attend.
Explorer Days is a program of the Bay Area Science Festival, an annual celebration of Bay Area science for all ages. For more information, visit www.bayareascience.org.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, children must be at least 9 years old to attend.

No, we can check you in electronically. Save paper!
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please leave furry friends at home. Please do bring cameras, curiousity, and close-toed shoes to tour the lab. Lab coats and eye protection will be provided where necessary.
