Join us for a drawing class with Erika Pascual aka Modern Enchantment! This is a meditative, freeform drawing of deep starry space and the stories that it holds. Nothing pretty, nothing perfect - no expectations! Students will have the freedom to play and experiment in mark-making with a variety of pencils at their disposal. They will also learn how to plant the wee seeds of storytelling amongst the stars in scribbled slices of space. All materials provided and students go home with their art kit and their new 20x24" piece of art.
Erika Pascual is a Filipino-American storyteller and artist. Her work has been published in Mahalaya SF, Electric Squeak and Indelible Literary Magazine. A Comics MFA graduate from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, she is currently working on sci-fi and horror comedy graphic novels. When not in Modern Enchantment Studios, you can find her perusing bookshops, researching random things that pique her interest or curled up on the couch with a good book.
