Description
You are invited to rekindle good times, acquaintances, and make new friends at our Pre-Thanksgiving Bash on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving guests are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to help St. Albans Congregational Church Thanksgiving Food Pantry. Additionally, partial proceeds from this event will be donated to the Robert Ross Johnson Family Life Center aka the FL Center and the Bartlett Foundation. Such proceeds will help the Bartlett Foundation to continue its mission of Enrichment through the Power of Music for students, seniors and veterans. Note 2019 benefit performances: St. Albans Veteran’s Home, Marvin Gaye Stamp Dedication and Senior Appreciation at the Queens Museum., this event will truly be a party with a purpose.

About the organizer
Bartlett Contemporaries is a dynamic dance band providing excellence in many genres of music. R&B, POP, Hip Hop, Caribbean and Jazz being the bands hallmark, the group has acquired a huge following of folks over the years that appreciate quality music. With the inclusion of the next generation members the band maintains a fresh and current approach to today’s trends in music while covering classic R&B with a Next Generation Sound.
Under the co-leadership of Charles and Carl Bartlett the band has made valuable contributions to the rich cultural mosaic of Queens County and New York proper, including the formation of The Bartlett Foundation. (Enrichment through the Power of Music) for Students, Seniors and Veterans.
Key Performances include : Oprah’s Book Party in Miami, Essence Communications Awards, Six Consecutive Years, and performing for the Wedding Receptions of: Spike Lee, Congressman Gregory Meeks and Councilman I. Daneek Miller.
