Description

Bartender:

Bartender is an original trio (acoustic guitars & voices) born in 2006 and formed by Gabriele “Svedonio” Tardiolo, David Tordi and Valerio Bellocchio.

Six hands, three instruments and three voices that create a full band sound: this is the challenge that brought the band to produce a unique and vibrant sound, as well as a diversified and finely arranged repertoire.

The Bartender live experience carries the audience through a true musical journey that begins with Italian and Mediterranean songs and then moves overseas to American blues & swing music.

The band offers a high quality and refined repertoire that creates memorable stops throughout the history of music, bringing back to light several compositions that are tucked away in our memory, but never fully forgotten.

Each song is fully revisited and rearranged with a distinct and recognizable style, and is executed with a new acoustic disguise, with lots of passion and vitality.

Over the years Bartender has achieved many goals, such as collaborating with important artists (like Chris Rham, Jason Mraz, Yuri Turchyn, John Gray, Ami Rothenberg, Rancore, DjMyke and many more…).

The band has performed at many live festival concerts and events throughout Italy, Great Britain, Irland, Germany, Cina and USA, as well as appearing on several TV shows on Rai (Sereno Variabile & TV News), Sky (Sanremo Doc), HGTV (House Hunters International on American network) and many others.

The band has performed as a regular guest at Casa Sanremo and as a guest on the Red Carpet of the Ariston Theater, on the occasion of the Italian Song Festival (Sanremo Festival). There are numerous important venues that have hosted Bartender. Among the many we mention: Yorckschlösschen and White Trash in Berlin – Germany, Lizard Lounge, Box109 and Toad in Cambridge and Boston (MA), North City Bistro, Hotel Albatross and Tim’s Tavern in Seattle (WA) in the USA, Grappa’s Cellar, Ned Kelly’s Last Stand and Gecko Lounge in Hong Kong – China, in addition to the beautiful “local” La Canzone del Mare in Capri, Castello di Mornico in Pavia and Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan. Thanks to its particular versatility, the band is also often booked for events such as conventions and private parties in exclusive locations.

Recently the band returned from a tour in the USA, where it performed also on the beautiful stage of the Auditorium of the Edmonds Center for the Arts, in Edmonds (WA). In those weeksBartender also recorded a series of sessions in the famous and historic recording studio called Robert Lang Studios (where undisputed masterpieces of world rock were recorded by bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters and many others) and played for a series of events organized by Rick Steves (Rick Steves’ Europe), a leading travel writer in the United States and the world. Following the American tour, Bartender have been releasing numerous radio interviews and performing on several TV appearances.

All the Bartender live shows have always been recognized as a real success. The 100% Recycled Music project, from which the Bartenders also made a record, was and still is appreciated by audience from all over the world. The Bartender show for both listeners and the band itself has one common denominator: Entertainment.

Christie Lenée:

2017 International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion Christie Lenée is a captivating performer with a devoted following among instrumental, folk-pop and rock band audiences. Combining guitar mastery, contemporary singer/songwriter and a passion for storytelling, she thrives onbringing people together through the language of music.

Christie’s unique guitar work and profound instrumental compositions are well described as‘Michael Hedges meets Joni Mitchell andDave Matthews.’ Among the vast community of fingerstyle and tapping guitarists, her niche is the integration of melodic pop lyricism with catchy hooks that excite both modern commercial listeners and classic purists. With a menu of percussive and sonic effects, and larger than life sounding instruments, her solo shows embody layers of orchestral elements with a wide array of dynamics and harmonic textures.

Christie’s pieces have been showcased at the NAMM Show in Anaheim and Nashville, live on National Television and Radio, and on stage with artists such as Tim Reynolds (guitarist for Dave Matthews Band), Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel, Amy Ray from the Indigo Girls, and Stanley Jordan to name a few. Her most recent album “STAY” was one of three finalists for “Best CDof 2016” (Indie Acoustic Project Awards), including the song “Love Who You Are” nominated for a 2016 Posi Award in the category “Songs for Personal Transformation.”Christie spent most of 2017 on tour in the US, Australia, and many countries around Asia. She’s now back in the studio recording new songs, intentionally crafted to weave her compositional guitar wizardry with folk-pop lyricism and ever exceeding vocal performances. The first three singles on deck, “Free World Citizen,” “Call My Heart Back Home” and “Dear Julia” also include musical contributions by the acclaimed bassist/musical prodigy Tal Wilkenfeld (Jeff Beck, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea), and world-renowned drummer/percussionist Allison Miller (Ani Difranco, Brandi Carlile, Natalie Merchant).

Brother and The Hayes:

Siblings, Jennie Hayes Kurtz and David Bingaman, grew up in Dallas, Texas where Jennie Hayes sang in choir and David played Stevie Ray Vaughn riffs all day long. They didn’t fall in love with songwriting until they both attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. They began singing and writing together and moved to Nashville after college. They formed Brother and The Hayes in 2016 and released The Dead End EP in 2017. Their music is honest, lyric-driven, and slathered in infectious grooves.
