Join special guest host, actor Danny Glover, for an opportunity to fete John Barros - the most exciting candidate in Boston's mayoral race - for his 40th birthday! Friends and supporters will gather in beautiful Jamaica Plain to meet John, hear about his forward-thinking vision for Boston and to wish him a very happy birthday. The afternoon will feature a concert by national jazz recording artist, author, radio commentator and Berklee professor Bill Banfield and his band, the Jazz Urbane.
We at the Barros Campaign can't imagine a better way to spend a late summer afternoon - the best candidate in Boston and an incredible Jazz/R+B concert.
Tickets for the event are $40 (40th birthday, get it?). Light food, beer and wine will be served. Additional donations are welcome.
We look forward to seeing you! Oh, and let's plan to give John the first of two birthday presents on September 24th as we help him win the fall primary. The second present comes in November.
