Barrington of Carmel Launches Program to Help Those Living With Parkinson's
Tue, April 11, 2017, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM EDT
The class is called The Climb, and it’s held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at The Barrington of Carmel retirement community. The first class launched on January 24, and had an amazing turnout.
The initiative, which is rapidly attracting participants, was launched after the community learned that one of its own residents took part in the program at another location. It’s called The Climb, a comprehensive wellness program that has been shown to slow the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms. The community is encouraging people who live in Carmel to participate in the new class held at The Barrington. As the first site to offer this unique program in the city of Carmel, the team at The Plaza Health Services at The Barrington of Carmel is excited about the positive reaction from families in the area.
