Barrington Art Festival
Art festival season kicks off with the Barrington Art Festival over Memorial Day weekend. FREE and open to the public, the Barrington Art Festival offers the work of 130 juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, photography, watercolors and wood. Young artists shine in the Youth Art Division of the festival which showcases the work of artists ages 18 and under. Produced by Amdur Productions, in partnership with the Village of Barrington and the Barrington Cultural Commission, the Barrington Art Festival is the perfect way to kick-off art festival season!
Live music, great food and fun art activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt and spin art, make the Barrington Art Festival a destination for art enthusiasts of all ages! Daily drawings take place at the festival where several lucky festival-goers will receive Art Buck$, courtesy of Amdur Productions, to spend on a piece of art at any of Amdur Productions’ 2013 festivals!
