PLEASE NOTE THE DATE HAS CHANGED TO JUNE 16TH

In response to recent lawsuits against businesses in Michigan, ADA Michigan in collaboration with the Great Lakes ADA Center and the Downtown Kalamazoo Retail and Restaurant Association invites you to attend a training focused on barrier removal and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Find out about ADA requirments, increase access for customers and learn about the law.


Agenda:

9:30 - 10:00 AM Registration & Refreshments

10 AM - 12:00 PM Peter Berg, Great Lakes ADA Center, on ADA requirements for facilities

12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch

1:00 - 2:00 PM Stan Skopek & Barb Kunkel, Barrier Free Design Board, on State of Michigan requirements

2:00 - 3:00 PM Mark Finnegan, Attorney, Herberle and Finnegan, on the ADA and the Law

Business owners/managers, code officials, architects, contractors, anyone interested in accessibility
