Barrier Breakers Gambling Advocacy Program (GAP) Discussion Group 11
Event Information
Description
Barrier Breakers is proud to introduce a new Gambling Advocacy Program (GAP) for the Latrobe Valley supported by Latrobe City Trust and Trinity Families.
This session will provide a forum for discussing issues around gambling for people and families who are impacted by it, focusing on the overlap between mental health and gambling addiction. Our advocates will guide the session and allow participants to share their experiences so that areas of change and gaps in the support system can be identified.
Barrier Breakers will be a non-judgemental soundboard for all those who attend and offer information and/or referral to gambling support organisations.
No identifying information will be taken from participants unless participants choose to provide it.
Light lunch or supper will be provided for each session.
Registration on Eventbrite is optional - you may attend on the day without registering for a ticket. If you register you can specify any dietary requirements and assist us to prepare for catering.
