Barrel-Aged Beer Tasting

We all know that the best things in life come in small packages. Well, the best things in beer come in barrels and we’ll show you why at this special barrel-aged beer tasting event! Your taste buds will be pleasantly overwhelmed and delighted from each sip of these beers, all aged in a variety of oak barrels for varying lengths of time. Each beer will be paired with a gourmet, delicious menu item in a small plate, tapas style dinner.

Warm potato salad – roasted potatoes, vinaigrette, rainbow swiss chard, sweet onions

Chevre tart – caramelized onion, baked egg, truffle spinach salad
Paired with The Collage
Basil panna cotta – arugula salad, crispy pancetta and parmesan
Paired with Malheur Wild Ale
Herb marinated pork loin – house made rolls, roasted tomato and olive chutne
Paired with Frosty the Snow Quad
Roasted vegetable platter – seasonal vegetables, balsamic syrup
Paired with Pinot Jubel
Blue Torte – house made breads, walnut crust, fig compote
Paired with Ryed n Trees of Doom Dunkel
Paired with Blackberry Sour
Tickets are $45.00 per person and include all small plate items, barrel-aged beer, and gratuity.

Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Deschutes Brewery is in the business of daring people to expect more from their beer. That's why we started off in 1988, on the banks of the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon, by selling Black Butte Porter at a time when others were sure a dark beer would never catch on. Our brewers love to push the envelope, especially if it makes someone nervous. But for us, the highest praise is a raised glass and a toast of "Bravely Done!"
