Cheers to the Animals!

Join Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA on June 24th, 2023 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at West Washington Park in Burlingame for our Bark n' Brewfest fundraising event (voted Best Fundraising Event on the Peninsula in 2018 and 2019!). Bring your four-legged friends for a fun filled afternoon where local craft breweries, cider makers, and a few artisan wineries will be pouring samples of their beverages into a commemorative glass for you to enjoy.

Well-behaved dogs on leash are always welcome!

Valid IDs will be checked at entry - you must be 21 years of age or older in order to participate in tasting! (Human years only, please! Your age in dog years will not be taken into consideration.)

Don't forget to check out some of PHS/SPCA's adoptable animals at our adoption booths!

Strut Your Stuff!

Our official Bark n' Brewfest 2023 shirt is available here. A commemorative Bark n' Brewfest tasting glass is included with every ticket purchase and will be available for pick up at the event.

Raise a Glass and Give Shelter Animals Hope!

All proceeds from Bark n' Brewfest go straight to helping shelter animals through our Hope Program! This special fund allows us to make well and find homes for even the neediest animals that find their way through our doors. We believe in second (sometimes third!) chances, and charitable donations from our community allow us to really stretch our wings when it comes to medical and behavioral care.

Food at the Event: Sunset 29 BBQ.

Tickets: $50 through May 29th. $60 from May 30th through June 23rd. $65 online and at the door on June 24th.

FAQ:

What is included with the ticket price?

• Each ticket holder gets a commemorative glass to taste unlimited 3 oz pours from participating beverage vendors between 2pm and 5pm on June 24, 2023 along with the good feeling (not just from the beer!) that proceeds help shelter animals 😊 There will be treats here and there for dogs and possibly free toys. Any non-alcoholic vendors are charging separately and not included in ticket price.

Where should I park?

• Street parking is limited but available within walking distance of the park. Please check street signage for time limits. The Burlingame Caltrain station is directly across the street from the event and the Millbrae Bart station is about three miles away with a bus line to connect them. Carpooling or using a car service is also recommended.

Can I bring my children?

• Due to the alcohol consumption at the Bark n’ Brewfest, this event is geared towards adults. If you choose to bring children, keep them well behaved and with you at all times.

Are ADA bathrooms available?

• Yes, the park has two ADA compliant restrooms next to the event.

About the organizer

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is a local, private, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to animal welfare. Among our major programs, PHS/SPCA adopts fully 100% of the healthy dogs and cats in our care and also, through our charitably funded Hope Program, makes well and finds homes for thousands of animals who come to us sick, injured, or too young to survive without supportive care. PHS/SPCA is truly an open admission shelter, not only accepting many pet animals who might be refused at other shelters, but also taking care of injured and orphaned native wildlife from San Francisco through San Mateo and the northern half of Santa Clara County. Our work means over 5,500 lives saved each year. Please visit www.phs-spca.org to learn about all our programs and services, ways to help our animals and special events.
