BarCamp NewsInnovation 2013
Event Information
Description
Each attendee only needs ONE ticket to get into both the unconference and the hackathon.
Each ticket offers reciprocal access to what will be the inaugural and coterminous Content Camp.
Differentiating the unconference and the hackathon just helps our attendee estimates. We encourage people to visit both the hackthon and the unconference, so just purchase the ticket of where you expect to spend most of your time.
This is the fifth annual BarCamp NewsInnovation and the third annual News Start-athon. Thanks to our lead sponsor Center for Public Interest Journalism, our lunchtime and venue sponsor Temple University Dept. of Journalism, our hackathon preparation sponsor Knight Mozilla Open News, our breakfast sponsor Sunlight Foundation and printing sponsor Drexel University Online!
BCNI is an annual unconference on news innovation, in which attendees come together and talk about best practices in innovating and strengthening our communities and conversations. The related hackathon is one focused on informing communities, with the news ethos.
*We encourage attendees from either part of the event to visit the other, so only one ticket per individual is necessary.*
