The Garden District Book Shop is thrilled to announce that award-winning food and beverage writer André Darlington will be at the shop November 10 for an evening celebrating his new book BAR MENU: 100+ Drinking Food Recipes for Cocktail Hours at Home.

The event will kick-off at 6:00 PM with a welcome reception within The Chicory House featuring signature bites and a cocktail pairing from the book. Afterwards, Darlington will do a quick demo of one of his favorite recipes, and then sit down to discuss his book. Afterwards, there will be a quick Q&A followed by the signing.

Entrance to the event requires purchase of a ticket through Eventbrite. To attend the event, guests can purchase a $10 ticket that includes food, beverage, and Eventbrite fees. For best value, guests can purchase a book ticket, which is available for $30 (book retail value, food and beverage, and Eventbrite fees.) Couples book tickets are also available for $35 and include entrance for two and one copy of the book.

The purchase of a ticket also enters you into a raffle to win a Crosley Cruiser Deluxe Portable Turntable, which is a nod to Darlington’s book Booze & Vinyl.
