Yale historian and author of Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom David Blight sits down with Columbia University’s Andrew Delbanco, author of The War Before the War: Fugitive Slaves and the Struggle for America's Soul from the Revolution to the Civil War. Join these celebrated thinkers for a conversation about abolition and a pivotal era in American history.
