Everybody has one: the inner critic that tells you you’re just faking it, that others have more talent, that you’ll never achieve the success you seek. The inner critic is an unconscious deterrent that stands between the seeds of great ideas and the fruits of achievement.

Denise Jacobs and Jessie Shternshus share their stories (and want to hear yours!) so together we can anatomize and squash our inner critics, giving us the mental space and energy to let our true talents emerge.

Female Founder Happy Hour Series

This is an organic networking series for female founders, investors and mentors in the entrepreneurial community. It started as a casual get-together of female founders to share ideas, challenges, and advice with one another. From the very first happy hour, there was an authentic connection and natural sense of support among the founders. Over time the group has grown in size and in 2014 it began hosting speakers and workshops to complement the networking. Google hosted the first workshop centered around female founders, unconscious bias and the fundraising process. Facebook hosted the second workshop with a focus on negotiation skills. The interest and enthusiasm continues to grow driven by the demand for building strong, meaningful networks for women in Silicon Valley.
