Join us for a red carpet event of LGBTQ stories that inspire empathy and action
Baltimore in Conversation is a red carpet event of never-heard-before stories of triumphs from African American same gender loving people and their allies. The goals are to inspire hope and to build community empathy around structural oppression and its impact on our everyday lives and health. This free event will create space for conversation about how we can take action within our city, and have rooms for people to go and breathe, meditate, and/or talk to social workers about any concerns and triggers that come up for them during and after the show. Food will be provided as well.
Health care workers are encouraged to attend. CME, CNE, and CEU credits for medicine, nursing,
social work and addiction counseling will be available to attendees.
