Event description
Come out for a fun-filled event as we address risks and dangers associated with underage drug and alcohol use and empower youth to resist!

About this Event

"Ballers Don't Take Shots, They Make Goals" won't just be informative, in fact, we have an interactive, fun afternoon planned!

Free lunch, raffle prizes, activities and live music from DJ A-Rod!

We will have keynote speakers who will briefly talk about the risks and dangers of underage substance use - time to clear the air of misperceptions!

And then we will have special breakout sessions where youth will get an opportunity to learn skills and techniques to add to their toolbox in an interactive, small-group setting:Mindful Self Compassion, Improv, Fitness, Yoga & more!

Plus special support sessions for parents AND a Loop It Up "Kid Zone" for younger siblings.

It is not enough to just tell youth to 'say no' to drugs, we also want them to say 'YES' to all that a drug-free future offers!

Not to mention, there will be a special appearance from local Harlem Globe Trotter Legend Larry 'Gator' Rivers!

Parking available across the street at E Broad Elementary!

We hope to see you and your family at this event! D-Up Against Drugs!

Sponsored by: Communities Talk: Town Hall, Peach State Health Care Plan, & Port City Pawn Shop
