About this event
Training Overview
This course is intended to cover the basic principles and practices associated with balancing rotating assemblies in the shop and the field. A review of basic vibration concepts and analysis is included. In addition to balancing, advanced testing methods are discussed to determine conditions that can prevent achieving satisfactory balancing results. These procedures include impact and ramp-up/coast-down tests with case studies.

Instructor
Ken Theimer has worked for Evans Enterprises for sixteen years and is currently the Industry Specialist in the field of Reliability and Predictive Maintenance. Ken is an ISO certified Category 3 vibration analyst, rotating machinery balancing specialist, and a certified technician in various models of ABB and Toshiba Drives.
