Baking Class: Pies -- Spring Time Veggies

Springtime in Chicago brings some glory from the Earth, notably in the form of vibrant spring vegetables like ramps (after which our city is named), asparagus, peas, radishes, spinach and sprouts.
Starting with the foundation of a perfectly flaky, butter pie dough, the possibilities expand to tarts and quiches that celebrate spring flavors. Students in this hands-on class -- part of our ongoing pie series -- will learn ways to keep vegetables in your diet the minute the first harvest hits.
About the teacher: Kelly Dull has worked at multiple bakeries and restaurants around the country, including Magnolia Bakery in Chicago and North Bakery in Providence, R.I. She has also taught a variety of pastry classes for Sur La Table in Illinois.
Refund/cancellation policy: A full refund will be provided for cancellations requests received from customers up to one week (seven days) before the event. No refund or store credit will be provided for cancellation requests received less than a week before the event.
