Beyond churros (though of course there will be churros!), Mexican sweets run the gamut of custard, chocolate, cake, ice cream and everything in between. Learn recipes and techniques for these classic south-of-the-border treats in this hands-on baking class with Pastry Chef Kelly Dull.

Skills covered: making pâte à choux pastry dough, piping dough, frying dough; heating sugar to make caramel, creating custard; working with cake batter, layering cake; working with baking molds.
About the teacher: Kelly Dull has worked at multiple bakeries and restaurants around the country, including Magnolia Bakery in Chicago and North Bakery in Providence, R.I. She has also taught a variety of pastry classes for Sur La Table in Illinois.
Refund/cancellation policy: A full refund will be provided for cancellations requests received from customers up to one week (seven days) before the event. No refund or store credit will be provided for cancellation requests received less than a week before the event.
