DC Net Impact is teaming up with Defense Entrepreneurs Forum DC Agora for an evening tour of Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown. Dog Tag makes handmade baked goods while providing valuable work experience for disabled veterans and caregivers. The Dog Tag work-study program combines education with the experience necessary for our vets to succeed post duty as civilians.
There will be a short presentation about the mission behind the bakery, along with some tasty goodies for us to try. Around 7:30, we will make our way to Rí Rá Irish Pub for happy hour (3125 M St. NW). Catch up with fellow Net Impact members and get to know the good folks at DEF DC Agora. We look forward to seeing you there!
(Registration is free for paid members of DC Net Impact and members of DEF DC Agora. A $5 fee for non-members will be donated to Dog Tag Bakery's fellowship program. Sorry, we are not able to provide refunds.)
