Bahay with Balay Coffee: Art-Making Event

Come join us at Balay Coffee for art, community, and coffee! Our Art-Making Event is a space where you can connect with fellow local artists and enjoy some treats in a cozy atmosphere.

This adult-only event is meant for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or seasoned artist! As part of your experience with us, you can have your artwork published in a standalone digital zine themed on 'feelings of home'.

Your ticket includes:

  • material costs
  • a drink at Balay Coffee
  • (optional) artwork publication in a zine!
  • a digital copy of the zine

You're welcome to bring your own art supplies - just keep in mind that we will be using paper to ensure that scanning goes smoothly! Feel free to suggest art supplies that we can prepare in advance of the event.

Physical zines will be offered by request, with a small, additional fee ($2-3) that can be paid at the event with the artist hosts.

Funds will be going towards materials (i.e. letter sized paper) and future zine projects. Thank you for your support!

To confirm and secure your spot, please watch your email for a Square invoice of $15.40! If you don't get anything within 24 hours, please send us an email to troubleshoot.

***Your spot is ONLY secured if this invoice is paid and/or you have made an arrangement with us about options for the ticket fee.
