BADRAP Pits & Giggles 15th B-Day Barn Party
Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM (PDT)
Help us celebrate 15 years of rappin' for the dogs.
Outreach events, training classes, cruelty cases, workshops and rescue - Our fifteenth year has been packed full, but it's time we take a hint from the dogs and have ourselves a big happy play session while we raise a few bucks for our rescue program.
On Saturday October 11, we're gathering at the Rescue Barn in the Oakland hills, where good healing happens thanks to our team of volunteers and generous donors. Doors open at 5:30.
Join us! Tour the barn, nuzzle a dog, pull up a seat at the campfire, have a glass of wine, make some new friends. You can plan on a fun, casual evening with a lot of laughs and opps to soak up some of the nicest dogs you will meet.
Zoomies on the Dance Floor
Put on your dancing shoes for foot stomping fun with Zydeco band Tri Tip Trio. These guys are good times!
"Tri Tip Trio is a rootsy throwback to an era where super-amplified ensembles weren't necessary to get everyone shaking what their mama baked for nine months." - Dirty Linen Magazine
WOOF! It's an Alumni Reunion
BADRAP Dog Adopters: You get TWO FREE TIX when accompanied by your (leashed) alumni dog! Please RSVP to get on the guest list.
Coming from Out of Town? Let us recommend an affordable hotel for you so you can stay late and wake up happy.
Thanks for the support. We look forward to sharing good times with you very soon!
BADRAP has served as an education/advocacy resource and rescue since 1999. In addition to collaborating with animal welfare organizations and government agencies to provide relief to canine victims of large scale cruelty cases, we provide valuable resources including free spay/neuter surgeries to dog owners in their local community and we offer professional training opportunities to animal welfare workers in pursuit of new and better ways to help pit bulls in their shelters and communities. Most of our rescued dogs live in the 'Rescue Barn,' a modest facility in the Oakland hills where they can recover from difficult pasts before going on to start new lives.
