BAD MEDICINE

The Bad Medicine Show is a high energy sketch comedy show with a bent toward the dark, cerebral, and absurd. It's the right amount of stupid fun. They’re a congress of friends from Washington DC doing distinctly non-political humor. Bad Medicine also produces and teaches sketch at the historic DC Improv Comedy Club and have performed at Sketchfest Seattle, SF Sketchfest, and Philly Sketchfest.

STRONG MALE LEADS

Strong Male Leads is a sketch comedy experience like no other. Brett VerVoort & Franny Harold love taking theater to the extreme *almost* as much as they love your dads. Fresh off their performances at Just for Laughs, you better gird your loins as they bring their trademark “cocaine-fueled” comedy to the stage.

TVunscripted

Explore the lives and minds of Ryder Tam and Gabe Valdez. From growing up in BIPOC households, to LGBTQ relationships, to science and their obsession with buddy cop drama, the only topics off-limits are the ones they don’t find funny.

The duo have spent the pandemic locked in a small room, producing over 50 original sketches with tens of thousands of views, and are excited to return to live performance.

Music, live comedy, and multimedia will make for a flashy experience you don’t want to miss. Ryder and Gabe draw on their decades of combined comedy experience to take you into the world of science, drama, miscommunications, relationships and laughter.

Austin Sketch Fest showcases the best scripted comedy from Austin and the wilderness beyond. Austin Sketch Fest is produced, booked, and organized by ColdTowne Theater. Previous festivals have featured Tim Robinson, Amber Ruffin, Ego Nwodim, Maggie Maye, James Adomian, Superego, Paul F. Tompkins, Latino Comedy Project, Joe Wengert, Brent Weinbach, Master Pancake Theater, Vanessa Gonzalez, Mary Jo Pehl, and many more groups from NYC, Chicago, LA, Seattle, Portland, Dallas and Austin (of course).
