Description

Do you want to NGSS-ize your lab activity of Bacterial Transformation? Join the Bay Area community of bioscience teachers for a day of hands-on learning in the tried and tested technique of bacterial transformation. This lab activity comes with an NGSS twist as well as choices in colors and levels of difficulty.

  • To reserve a seat, please pay a $25 refundable fee. It will be returned to you upon arrival. If you do not attend without canceling 72 hours prior, your $25 will be forfeited.
  • High school and community college science teachers have priority for this workshop.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and a $50 stipend will be provided
  • Take BART! BART is only 2 flat blocks away (24th & Mission Station). If driving, we encourage carpooling, parking at the nearby garage will be fully reimbursed.
