Bacteria, Fungi, pH and your Gut
Event Information
Description
500-1000 types of bacteria living in your intestinal tract.
1000 types of bacteria living on your skin.
600+ species living in your throat, mouth and respiratory system, and even more species are found living in other areas of your body, each type preferring different environments and levels of pH of the various fluids in the organs of the body.
Additionally, fungi of countless types have lived on planet Earth since times that are unimaginable. Fungi and chlorophyll (algae) interacted with each other in very early times to slowly build an environment that enabled life as we know it on Earth. These same fungi can still be found living within our own organism...amongst our cells...and they are ready to engage when their skills are needed, which is typically when you are going through a healing crisis of some sort or when your immunity is so weak that they can literally take over your body trying to clean up the dead cells that you create via poor diet and lifestyle. It is really up to you to decide if micro-organisms will be for you or against you. It is their job to make sure that we are sustained and supported properly due to the specialized tasks that they perform for us....or against us.
It is inevitable that micro-organisms of bacteria and fungi will co-exist with us until the last breath of us and/or our planet. Most people are not comfortable with the idea that they have trillions of bacteria living on them and inside of them, but the truth is that without them you would not have any health at all! Have we lost our ability to co-exist due to over-use of antibiotics and vaccines, highly acidic diets, modern lifestyle stress that creates abnormal amounts of acid in the cells, and a basic lack of knowledge about the roles of bacteria and fungi in our cells? Do the micro-organisms living in your body help to sustain you, or are they taking advantage of a poorly-operational immune system? This class will open your mind about bacteria and fungi, the the importance of your gut microbiome when it comes to staying healthy for life!
