Bacon-Fest: The Other Fundraiser is a Kansas City locally beloved festival dedicated to America’s favorite cured meat: bacon! At Bacon-Fest KC local restaurants concoct and serve brilliant sample size bacon dishes to thousands of adoring bacon lovers. Our beer sponsor Budweiser will be providing beer to keep us cool on a warm day in August.
Don your favorite “bacon” duds and we’ll bring you to the main stage the day of the event to show us what you got! We will select two sizzling spectators to win a set of tickets on the KC Barbeque Tours Bus.
Here’s your chance to prove it how much bacon you can eat! Enter the Bacon Eating Contest and we guarantee you won’t walk away hungry. Purchase your $10 ticket to participate when you purchase your event ticket. Participant will get the chance to eat 1.5 lbs of bacon as fast as you can. (Yep that’s a whole package folks).
100% of the proceeds from this event help both children and adults with disabilities at the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City (RIKC) and Children's Therapeutic Learning Center (CTLC) gain greater independence and brighter futures.
