Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification and Examination (ASSE 5110)

Length: 40 hours, Monday through Friday, February 27 - March 3, 2017.
from 8:00am - 5:00pm
This course requires a minimum of 5-years Industry-related experience.
At this forty (40) hour training class, participants will be presented with the guidelines used for acceptable practices of testing backflow prevention assemblies. The participants will also learn the principles of cross-connection control and the methods devices, and assemblies used to protect the potable water system. The training and knowledge provided will prepare the student for the jurisdiction’s recognized examination.
This course is designed to provide the necessary skills to confidentially take the exam of AWWA, ABPA, ABC, ASSE and many others. On the final day of the training, the ASSE 5110 tester certification examination will be administered. The written exam for an initial tester certification consists of 100 questions. Presently, the initial certification candidate must demonstrate the field test procedure for a reduced pressure principle assembly,
double check valve assembly, pressure vacuum breaker assembly, and spill-resistant vacuum breaker assembly.
This class requires a minimum of 10 students.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To receive a refund, you must provide 48 business-hours notice of cancellation. If you are tuition-covered, PLEASE NOTE your training funds can only pay for your tuition if you attend the entire class and receive your certificate. If you do not cancel within the required time or do not show up for or complete the course, you or your company (whoever registers you for the course) will be responsible for the full tuition.
