Learn low impact horse camping with special tricks of the trade from decades of outfitting experience. Confidently shoe your own horse for your next backcountry adventure.
Includes breakfast, lunch, and class materials. Shoeing tools, camping and packing equipment, and livestock will be available for student use.
This is a hands on training experience. The ability to perform standing, bending, lifting and other physical activities allows the most benefit from the practical training portions of class. Individual learning plans can be created for those with specific needs, if arranged prior to the beginning of class.
This course is designed for those that already have some basic horsemanship skills. If you are completely new to horses, inquire about our beginner classes.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 years old
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On-site parking is available. Shuttle service from partner lodging facilities can be arranged. Call for a list of accommodations.
What can I bring into the event?
Please keep young children, observers, and pets away from the class area during class hours. A demonstration for friends and family is scheduled after the last day of class.

What's the refund policy?
Because of the limited class size, there will be no refunds for cancellations within 30 days of the class.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No - Sign in with ID on arrival is fine.
