Event Details

Back to the Moon for Good
Like in the Moon’s glory days of the 1960s and 1970s, our big, white space neighbor is again enjoying the attention of lunar explorers. Only this time, they’re going back to the Moon for good. Narrated by actor and comedian Tim Allen, this award-winning show chronicles teams around the world competing for the Google Lunar XPRIZE, the largest incentivized award in history. To win, teams must place a robot on the Moon’s surface, navigate 500 meters and successfully transmit high-definition images back to Earth. The show ends with a stunning glimpse of a plausible scenario for a future on the Moon. This show is a production of XPRIZE, created by NSC Creative.

Please note: All seats are general admission with no assigned seat numbers. For best seat selection, it's a good idea to arrive 15-20 minutes before showtime. For the safety of our visitors and in order to prevent accidents, late entry is not allowed. Likewise, once a show has started, if you leave the planetarium for any reason, re-entry is not allowed due to safety regulations in the darkened environment.
