Event description
October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. Students with dyslexia, you are not alone! Drop in to learn about technology that helps.

About this Event

Drop in for a fun evening at the Assistive Technology Lab, learn about audiobooks and other helpful tech for reading and writing, and hang out with the award-winning International Dyslexia Association - Oregon Student Empowerment Panel. View and compare assistive technology tools, all in the comfort of the Assistive Technology Lab community living room!

Parents, bring your IEP or 504 Plan and have a free 15-minute consultation with FACT Oregon staff, available to answer questions and provide support related to Special Education, and/or any questions that arise when raising a child who experiences disability. Consults will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the schedule is full.

All are welcome, including teachers, families, and students. Please reserve your free ticket and choose your time slot.

Street parking is available near our building or there are several reserved spots marked “7C” at St. Philip Neri Church.
