What is myofacial release? myofascial means muscle tissue (myo) and the connective tissue in and around it (fascia). Myofascial pain often results from muscle injury or repetitive strain. When stressed or injured, muscles often form trigger points, like contracted knots, that cause pain and tightness.
What are Release workshops at reCharge? In these 2 hour workshops led by studio owner and orthopedic pro Sloan Rachmuth, you will learn to release trigger points of your body with trigger point release techniques used by the pros.
During the Release workshop, we will guide you to the 20 trigger point releases that will:
-help ease pain immediately in overused and strained areas
-rebalance every level of your spine and joints
-loosen tight areas to free motion in your back, hips, and knees
-help relieve pain, stretch tight regions
-help increase circulation along your spine and in joint spaces
-leave you feeling revived, stronger and more relaxed
