Wednesday, 4/19 6-8 pm Landscaping Trends and Project Planning
Great outdoor spaces are easier to achieve with some forethought and a design plan. But what's new? Where to begin? What will these projects involve?
Bachman's landscape designers will address these common questions and discuss considerations like site analysis and evaluations, conceptual planning, current trends and plant selection to help you formalize a plan to execute.
Wednesday, 4/26 6-8 pm Gardening for Healthy Environments
A landscape rich with a diversity of flowering and native plants is both beautiful and helps support healthy environments. Learn garden and plant layout essentials as well as maintenance practices from Bachman's horticulturists and special guest experts!
This seminar kicks off with a presentation by two special guests from the U of MN Bee Squad on "Gardening for Pollinators".
Elaine Evans, PhD, will present “Flowers from the Pollinators' Perspective”
James Wolfin, MS student, will speak on “Bee Friendly Lawns: Promoting Pollinators in a Turf-grass Environment”
Followed by tips for healthy practical applications in your garden, led by our Bachman's horticulturists.
