ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

EVERETT SUTTLE, tenor, has been praised by critics around the globe for his “smooth, effortless tenor” and “beautiful, buttery tone”. Mr. Suttle made his operatic debut at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. In repertoire that ranges from the Baroque masterpieces of Bach and Handel to 20th century works of Britten and Tippet, Everett has appeared internationally in opera, oratorio, concert and recitals at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, La Scala di Milano, Opera Bastille in Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro Colon in Beunos Ares, and many others. Most recently, he debuted at Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium, singing excerpt from Life of Christ Cycle by Roland Hayes and sang the tenor lead in the North American premier of L’Amant Anonymn by the Chevalier de Saint George.

“Singing of such taste and beauty is rarely found in any opera house…anywhere!” Washington Post; “Some of the most beautiful moments of the evening came from tenor Everett Suttle.” New York Times; “Mr. Suttle combines vocal and physical beauty into a mesmerizing whole.” Helena Independent Record

FRANK MATHIS, baritone was a soloist in the Roland Hayes Life of Christ song cycle performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016. He studied with Antonella Banaudi, among others. He has directed choruses and voice training in US and Germany. He has been a leading part of a program to expose public school children in NYC, Bronx, Harlem and Brooklyn to classical music and choral singing. Frank directs the Foundation's youth chorus and will be the choral director for its 2019 summer music program.

KATRIN BULKE, Soprano is quickly establishing herself as a strong and talented soprano in the world of opera and operetta. The popularity of her voice and her thrilling operatic performance brought her the audience award, by acclamation, in the Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition in NYC (2017) and the Grand Prix at the Concert Festival International Competition (2018).

Ms. Bulke, as a proud graduate of Mozartum in Salzburg (Austria), has worked under supervision of masters such as Helmut Deutsch, Andreas Macco, Valentin Peychinov and Carmela Altamura. Since her arrival to NYC in 2016, Ms. Bulke has performanced with ten different stage companies in roles such as: Gilda (Rigoletto), Amina (La Sonnambula), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Queen of the night (Zauberflöte -Carnegie Hall), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Frasquita (Carmen), Queen Elizabeth (Roberto Devereux) and Blonde (The abduction of the Serail). Currently you can see her as Musetta in La Boheme at the Amore Opera Company.

JONATHAN DePERI, piano, is the Honorary Assistant Organist at St. John’s in the Village and had studied piano at the Manhattan School of Music before transferring to Columbia University. In 2013, he formed the Gotham Arts Salon, which creates artistic and musical gatherings that blur the line between private and public. https://www.facebook.com/GothamArts/
