Description

The Baca Family Historical Project is proud to announce its first out-of-state Family History Conference on March 9, 2019 in El Paso, TX at the El Paso Main Library Auditorium from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The conference’s focus is on the Common Hispanic Mutation, a genetic disorder causing cerebral cavernous angiomas in the brain and spine in many Hispanics across the southwest.

Attend a presentation on history and health of genetic mutations. Free to low-cost DNA testing will be available for participants who are of high-risk for inheriting the genetic mutation. Registration information and program information can be found at bacafamily.org. Space is limited to the first 100 participants. Conference is free and open to the public.


The Baca Family Historical Project works with Angioma Alliance to connect families through genealogy and history to celebrate heritage and improve health.
