The Baca Family Historical Project is proud to announce its inaugural 2017 Family History Conference.

The program will include presentations by notable genealogist, Henrietta Christmas, Dr. Troy Ainsworth, family presentations, a clinical presentation, and free DNA testing for participants who are direct descendants of Cristobal Baca and Ana Maria Pacheco Ortiz. 

Experts in genealogical research and history will address a broad array of topics, including the impact and influence of the Baca Family in New Mexico, the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, The Common Hispanic Mutation, and shared family stories. Participants are encouraged to bring their family albums for sharing during a family album session.   

The Baca Family Historical Project connects the descendants of Cristóbal Baca and Ana Maria Pacheco Ortiz, original Spanish settlers in northern New Mexico, to celebrate heritage and improve health.
