When can I start signing with my baby?

Start now! The younger the baby is, the easier it is for parents to focus in class. Babies listen to language around them as soon as they’re born - listening with their ears AND their eyes! At six months old, they're starting to associate the world around them with spoken words and sign language.

Do I need to bring my baby to the classes?

Babies are welcome in class, or parents may come on their own, since babies will do the bulk of their learning through being exposed to signs you are using in their daily routines. As you grow your signing skills and vocabulary in our weekly classes, they'll keep right up with you!

Older babies and toddlers are welcome. It's never too late to start signing with your child.

May I bring the grandparents and other caregivers?

Yes! They'll have fun together,  learning how to sign with your little one. There's a discount price for other family members and caregivers if they decide to continue in the series classes.

When will my baby start signing?

It varies like other developmental milestones. Once babies reach six months old, memory retention increases rapidly. They can’t speak verbally until they're close to two years old. However, they start signing between eight and ten months old! It'll literally blow you away of what they have to say!
