Event Details

One of the critical, and often hardest, skills for a product manager is making sure you are interpreting the business’ needs and delivering new features that both satisfy your organization’s goal and delight customers. We will discuss some of the learnings and potential pitfalls product managers encounter when translating your stakeholders needs into concrete tasks, upon which the technology teams can execute successfully.

Meet the Speaker: Joy Billings

Joy is currently a Manager of Acquisition at Hulu, driving the strategy and roadmap for the subscriber acquisition product team. Prior to joining Hulu in 2016, she was at Amazon in Seattle, focusing on building a new “hands-off-the-wheel” optimization platform for Amazon Prime. Joy also spent 3 years at Experian in Orange Country, where she was a Director of Optimization for the direct-to-consumer business.

Her passion for experimentation and data-driven decision making led to launching new credit services for consumers and more efficient acquisition funnels. Before finding her love for product management, Joy was a web analytics manager, with positions in the finance, media, and tech industries.
