This training is aimed at high school biology/bioscience teachers new to biotech techniques or who would like a refresher. You have to attend all 2.5 days of the workshop. Breakfast and lunch will be served for all 3 days. Priority will be given to teachers from underserved schools.

At the end of the workshop, you will:

-Have worked through several BABEC lessons from micropipetting to PCR, gaining technical knowledge, tips, and tricks, and interpreting the results

-Feel confident in setting up the reagents and equipment for your classroom, for several BABEC lessons

-Collaborate with other teachers to learn how best to incorporate the lesson(s) in your Living Earth/Biology/Biotech courses
