Wayne County's economy continues to be strong relative to the rest of Ohio and the nation. Businesses are are expanding, home sales have improved, and construction activity has increased.
Still, there is uncertainty about how labor shortages, the recent election and federal fiscal policies will affect this growth. Join us at this third annual Briefings for Business event (B4B), for insight into the challenges and opportunities that the local, state, U.S. and global economies will face in the year ahead.
Back by popular demand, the WEDC is honored to welcome economist Mark Partridge, Professor, Swank Chair in Rural-Urban Policy at the Ohio State University. Mr. Partridge will discuss the local, state and federal economies with a question and answer session to follow. This has become our most popular B4B and an event you don;t want to miss!
