The Chain O’ Lakes Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a brand new event called the B4 Summer Festival! Bands, bacon, bourbon and beer will be the theme with a goal to raise money for five local nonprofit organizations. Tickets will be $15 at the door and $12 pre-sale.
This festival special because the festival grounds will be the Richardson Adventure Farm in Spring Grove. A bunch of family-friendly activities will be open early, just for the fest, such as a 50ft observation tower, giant jumping pillows, playgrounds, a giant slide and more to enhance the experience for all ages.
Entertainment includes staple headlining bands like Modern Day Romeos (8:30-10:30pm), 7th Heaven (6pm-8pm) and Serendipity acoustic duo (3:30-5:30pm). We will have local breweries onsite representing their brands as well as regular domestic beers, seltzers and more. Nine local food trucks will be placed throughout the property with a wide assortment of food from tacos, bbq, poutine, Hawaiian, sweet treats and a ton more with both bacon, and non-bacon, themed food options. A separate private bourbon tasting will provide novice and developed palates a great experience.
The Fiv local nonprofit organizations you will be helping will be: Allendale Association, offering a variety of therapeutic programs and services for children and their families with emotional and behavioral challenges. Save-a-Pet, one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County that operates a full-time adoption center for abused, neglected, injured or lost animals. Elderwerks, providing help with any type of senior housing or elder care solutions, for you or your loved ones, free of charge. Jeeps on the Run, philanthropic Jeep owners that raise money for the community supporting Toys for Tots (with almost $1,000,000 in donations) as well as raising money for breast cancer, heart disease, St. Baldrick's, St. Jude and local food pantries. Finally the Chain O' Lakes Chamber Scholarship created to assist local ambitious students in achieving their dream education.
