About this Event

This Spring set your intention to take care of yourself and renew your commitment to healthy habits that help your whole body transition to a new season. Open Kitchen is delighted to partner with Bliss Alchemy to bring you this thoughtfully designed Ayurvedic Whole Body Spring Renewal & Culinary Weekend! Developed 5,000 years ago in India, Ayurveda is the world's oldest “whole-body” healing system. It is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Open Kitchen and Bliss Alchemy will take you on an “inside-out” health and wellness journey through the Ayurvedic lens. This nourishing and delicious weekend can be taken as a two-day retreat or as individual days..

We will focus on nutritional insights from Ayurveda and the benefits of mindful cooking and eating. This will include a hands-on Ayurvedic cooking class and lunch, and guidance on how to set up a healthy self-care routine based on your unique mind-body type.

Day 2: Sunday, May 19, 2019: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm(Includes Hands-on Ayurvedic Skin Care Product Making Class and Pre-made Lunch with Spring Antioxidant-rich Ingredients for Healthy Skin.)According to Ayurveda’s holistic philosophy, the health of our skin is a reflection of our internal balance.
