Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word meaning "the complete knowledge for long life” and is a system of natural health care that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It is Yoga’s sister science and is based on a five element theory that the body and all living things are comprised of various amounts of ether, air, fire, water, and earth.
Incorporating Ayurvedic wisdom and practices into your lifestyle can help bring balance to the body, spirit and mind through nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle practices. This short 75 minute class offers insight into the very tip of this beautiful iceberg of Ancient Knowledge.
